CAT Wireless UTM/IPS platform is aimed to support NVF slicing application architectures as they evovle,
by providing per flow security between the user equipment and the cloud based services platform.
CAT can be located in the core where it can provide turnkey UTM/IPS Security. CAT maintains EMM/ECM state tables and other data including GTPv1/2 TEID/FlowsIDs etc,
to quickly identify and drop only those S1-U/GTP-U streams that are a threat. The remaing clean flows in the active sessions are forwarded as normal.
iCN Live session capacity is over 3.5 Million active subscribers.
As the default bearers a typicaly assigned for Internet Access, the CAT can be placed on the Gi.
For inter-carrier/service provider links CAT can clean those too. Also with 5G it is possible to provide a CAT UTM/IPS out at the RRH (S1AP/S1-U).

CAT can be used to monitor infrastructure and transaction services for CC theft, fraud and physical damage.
In addition to monitoring TCP/IP POS Malware and Credit Card theft, CATs Sigtran/SS7 capabilities can monitor remote ATM Machines; SS7 MTP 2 Link Status Signal Unit LSSUs.
LSSUs carry one or two octets (8-bit bytes) of link status information between signaling points at either end of a link.
The link status is used to control link alignment and to indicate the status of a signaling point (e.g., local processor outage, ATM theft) to the remote CAT monitoring signaling point (mSP).
CAT will monitor both your SS7 and TCP/IP Equipment, alarm, and protect your Assets.
